"Turn the Moon" is saxophonist/composer Sam Williams' debut album, and features Art Lande (piano), Tom Gershwin (trumpet), Zachary Teran (bass), and Dru Heller (drums). Comprised of original compositions (including a previously unrecorded contribution by pianist Art Lande), this album covers vast musical territory. Each track has its own story, character, and inspiration, while remaining an integral component of the album's overall aesthetic. The music is spontaneous, interactive, serious, playful, tender, intense, mysterious, and above all else sincere.
